1. Served as dissertation coach for Ed.D candidates - Helped doctoral candidates conceptualize their research ideas; refine research questions and designs; guided candidates in performing literature searches and writing literature reviews; helped candidates prepare for proposal defenses through draft proposal reviews and feedback; and helped candidates prepare for dissertation defense. 2. 1. Collected and analyzed data for evaluation of the High School Initiatives 2000+ Program, as member of a four-person team. The program was established to help students succeed, both academically and socially, through a series of safety nets designed to assist students in making the transition from middle school through high school graduation. Written report submitted to the Richland County School District Two Board, Columbia, South Carolina.2. Served as faculty liaison between the South Carolina Educational Policy Center (SCEPC), Office of Program Evaluation (OPE), and the South Carolina Department of Education (SDE) on the federally funded South Carolina Reading First evaluation; supervised graduate and undergraduate student workers charged with performing Reading First evaluation activities; developed survey instruments and analysis plans for the Reading First evaluation.3. Collected and analyzed formative review data for the Teacher Specialist On-Site program - member of a three-person research team. The program was established to assist teachers in South Carolina’s low-performing schools to improve instruction and student achievement; written reports submitted to the South Carolina Education Oversight Committee and SDE.4. Prepared an SCEPC research product for publication in a peer-reviewed journal in collaboration with colleagues. To date, this journal article has been cited 29 times by researchers/authors in at least four different countries. 5. Instructor for:Theories of Educational Leadership in the Ph.D. degree program in Educational Administration.Supervision of Instruction in the M.Ed. degree program in Educational Administration with distance education (live broadcasts and online) and classroom instruction components.6.
