Any company would be super lucky to have Christina as their employee. She is super structured in her way of working and brings in creative and innovative ideas. When it comes to her role as recruiter, she manages to not only find high fit talents, but to actually help talents understand why they fit specific companies and positions. She has helped us find amazing candidates for the companies we work for. On top she manages our community of international talents, showing her strong communication skills (in various languages) but also her empathy. She is a well-rounded professional, who will take on tasks, learn on the way and always outperform. It is always a big pleasure working with her.

I met Christina while working together at Careerbee. Besides recruiting, in her role as a community manager at Careerbee’s community for international talents, she always went above and beyond our expectations. She knows her way around people, is good at guiding fellow members and does whatever it takes to help with her advice. She has a knack for providing clear insight that helps people understand the necessary steps to construct a great resume and form a strategy that will land them their dream job. Additionally, her active sourcing skills are not only used to fill up recruiting positions but also help members, like myself, network with each other or professionals in our respective fields.

After being a Careerbee member, I was given the chance to be the community coordinator for the online community. Specifically, I am responsible for helping the members with their questions, redirecting them to the right people, keeping them informed with various posts, and organizing virtual events. Another aspect of the job is recruiting. I help with the talent acquisition for roles by scouting potential candidates. Nagel Group specializes in food logistics, has a turnover of €9B, and employs over 12K people at more than 130 locations in 16 European countries. As a Logistics Assistant, I was responsible for assisting in warehouse operations and activities to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. I prepared and completed large production of orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. I also performed inventory controls and kept quality standards high for audits. To increase production efficiency, I developed and implemented strategies to minimize the time spent on each display.

DePaul University is one of the largest universities in the US, with about 23K students and 300 programs. In my role as a Research Assistant, I was responsible for gathering accurate and credible information on substances and summarizing findings to support the successful completion of the Green Chemistry research project. Collaborating with the research coordinator, I synthesized a new compound to be used for CO2 reduction. Furthermore, I performed DFT calculations to identify structure, understand properties, and predict behavior. Using data science, I analyzed and developed findings and reports. I also maintained an accurate record of over 500 substances from the lab’s inventory, enabling accessibility of data collected for research work.

Argonne National Laboratory is a science and engineering research laboratory that employs 3.4K employees and has an annual operating budget of $760M supporting over 200 projects. My role as a Research Member involved administering data gathering, analytics, and reporting to support the effective execution of science and engineering research projects. To support science and engineering research activities, I gathered X-ray data during beamtime at the Advanced Photon Source synchrotron for compounds created by the coordinating professors. Additionally, I facilitated meaningful analysis of experimental data that empowered the research team to make data-driven decisions and conclusions.

Serving as an ELA Tutor, I was responsible for facilitating one-on-one and small group lessons to cater to students’ needs and help them enhance their English language skills.
