Working alongside my co-director to lead the UK's largest student-run arts festival. After deciding on a theme for the festival, we hired a committee and led them all whilst thinking up, organising and bringing to life 10 days' worth of events. These include live music, art exhibitions, workshops, and a careers panel with experts from the theatre industry. Working alongside my co-director to lead the UK's largest student-run arts festival. In my work for the University's Ambassador Scheme, I've most recently been placed in charge of tours for visiting prospective students, tourists, and VIP guests alike. This involves organising weekly rotas for visiting guests who register for our Town Tours, organising and providing tour training to all Ambassadors who wish to give tours, and overseeing and organising rota for tours on University Open Days, where hundreds of visitors register for our regular town tours.

Vice Principal Ambassador for Ask a Student
-
Jun 2021 - May 2022
After two years volunteering and working with the Student Ambassador scheme at the University of St Andrews, I was promoted to Principal Team in June 2021. My role as Vice Principal Ambassador for Ask a Student had me working closely with prospective students throughout the academic year. I answered queries and match prospective students with Ambassadors who can answer their questions, as well as helping out with general running of Visiting Days (both virtually and in person).

Junior Ambassador
-
May 2020 - May 2021
In May 2020, I was promoted to the paid role of Junior Ambassador, continuing to represent the university and ensure that I presented a positive image. I regularly gave tours of the town to prospective students, showing them various locations which are important to student life in St Andrews. I also shared with them the history of the town, the university's traditions, and spoke about my experience as a student in St Andrews.

Jul 2022 - Sep 2022
I spent 10 weeks working with the National Wholesale team in Diageo’s London headquarters. During my time there, I worked independently on two projects to improve the way new products are marketed and launched into the Wholesale business. These were met with positive feedback from my team and superiors, and I implemented new steps for future launches as a result of these projects. I also worked on out-of-role projects, including: - Designing an informative, interactive presentation for buyers from the nation’s largest supermarkets who visit Diageo HQ - Compiling monthly reviews of competitors’ pricing and advertising strategies, which I then presented to colleagues with recommendations of how to improve our own advertising going forward

Social Media Officer
-
Mar 2021 - Apr 2022
Volunteered as the social media manager for La Scozzese, a play being produced and performed by students and staff in the Italian department. Created assets and increased our social media following, whilst publishing both behind-the-scenes content and important information about performance dates and ticket sales. Organised a collaboration with the renowned Italian Cultural Institute in Edinburgh, and leveraged their larger audience to increase awareness of our play. As the Social Media Officer for On the Rocks, the UK's largest student-run arts festival, I worked with our Marketing team to create content and promotions for the festival. Publishing a variety of behind-the-scenes content and events information, and developing my social media fluency, whilst promoting the festival and its events.

English Language Assistant
-
Oct 2020 - May 2021
Liceo Scientifico 'Evangelista Torricelli' I spent the third year of my degree in Italy, in order to improve my spoken and working language skills. Working as an English Language Assistant for the British Council, I taught English to high school students (aged 14-19). I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to gain more experience with an age group I hadn't worked extensively with yet. My responsibilities included planning lessons and finding ways to encourage students to participate and feel comfortable in class. My work was split between in-person teaching and online working, which was a great learning experience.

Jul 2017 - Aug 2020
I spent three years working as a customer assistant in multiple Tesco stores. I balanced my job with full-time studies at school and university, allowing me to improve my time-management skills. Due to this experience, I am equally comfortable working in both customer-facing and replenishment roles, dealing with both colleagues and customers. Jul 2018 - Aug 2018
Before beginning my studies in Spanish at university, I spent several weeks working as an Au Pair in Galicia, northern Spain. This experience was an excellent way for me to improve my knowledge of the Spanish language and Galician culture, whilst learning how to work with young children. I greatly developed my confidence, amongst other skills, and built a lasting relationship with the family I worked for.
