  Studied cerebellar physiology and connectivity using state of the art fluorescence imaging and electrophysiological methods both in vivo and in vitro.Co-authored 7 papers in leading peer-reviewed journals.Maintained and optimized 4 two-photon laser scanning microscopy systems with simultaneous electrophysiology, one with a dual beam path for photo- stimulation.Setup a successful international, interdisciplinary collaboration which has so far resulted in two publications.Established protocols for in vivo imaging of genetically encoded activity indicators in cerebellum in this lab.Setup a fluorescence microscopy array tomography imaging system.Supervised nine student projects ranging from summer research placements to PhD projects.Trained numerous students and postdocs in electrophysiology, two-photon imaging and mouse surgery techniques.
