I currently work on our semi-trucks that haul material to locations and Scorpion truck mounted attenuator's that are used as barriers to absorb any vehicle impacts. My work consists of everything from doing preventative maintenance and diagnosing problems to replacing surge tanks, fan clutches, power steering, water pumps, and more. I've been assigned to fix varies components on our Scorpions after they've been stroke by a vehicle so I’ve become familiar with simply wiring up new lights and bolting on new parts to welding structural pieces to the frame and replacing hydraulic lifts that blow out seals. Within a few months I will acquire my CDL and begin working on any of our vehicles or machines that break down during transit or on location.

RAC Ventures is an Oil Field Energy Service company that specializes in building compressor stations, batteries, and facilities that separate out oil, water, and gas from FRAC sites. I only work during the summer months with this company since I’m required to relocate and I work more than 100 hours a week with only a couple days off. My role there started as a crew hand that assisted in bolting up pipeline and helping in the construction of facilities but I quickly worked my way up the ladder to a managerial role. During my second summer with the company I was moved up to shop supervisor within two weeks of my return and managed anywhere from 2-16 people on a daily basis. I was responsible for making sure people were working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines of our facilities and clientele. At the shop I was required to inventory parts, operate machinery, transport pipeline, order and disperse tools and equipment, maintain 20 crew trucks, manage ongoing construction and operations taking place on location, upkeep all our trailers and living quarters, and supervise our welders to make sure they were getting the material they needed to keep up with fabrication demands. My role branched out into making sure the remaining 150+ employees were maintaining their trucks and fulfilling any requests for tools or equipment they required. During my time there I was also assigned to work with QuickBooks, Smartsheet, and JotForm’s so I became extremely familiar with entering in employee hours, creating invoices, fulfilling work orders, and creating inventory sheets.

I started at United Supermarkets as a sacker when I turned 15 years older and held that position for roughly 6 months. Once I turned of age, I moved into the position of a day stocker and remained in that position for the remained of my time there but during the summer months I would transition to overnight stocking so I could manage two full time jobs. Over the course of my employment I was trained to do inventory, order items, setup displays, stock shelves, organize overstocked merchandise, and learned the importance of sectioning items in particular areas to encourage impulse buys.

I was responsible for unloading freight from the trucks and then separating out the merchandise onto pallets that would be moved out to the store floor. After everything was sorted, I would be assigned a section to distribute the merchandise and then front all other items on the aisle. While I was employed there, I was trained to use the forklift, manlift, and an electric narrow aisle forklift.
