With the "Digitale Versorgung Gesetz" (Act for Better Care through Digitization and Innovation), the Federal Government of Germany paved new paths for the digital future in the healthcare industry in December 2019. With the creation and certification of Digital Health Applications (DiGA), which are allowed to be prescribed to all statutory health insured patients in Germany, an enormous need for education and training has arisen at the same time for all Health Care Professionals (HCPs).
