  • This was a ship with over 350 crew members from over 50 nationalities bringing: Knowledge, Help and Hope to the nations. • Actively participated in the emergency drills every week for Fire, Bomb attack, Terrorist attack, man overboard, Pirate attack, etc. • Supervised five Firemen every week for the emergency drills. • In charge of the engine room watch whilst in Port and as a senior assistant to the Engineer in charge whilst at sea. • Assisted the Engineers in their routine and unscheduled maintenance as well as repair of the machinery inside the Engine room and around the Ship. This included extensive involvement in main engine and diesel generator overhaul work as well as work on oil purifiers, air compressors, air conditioning, refrigeration and sewage treatment equipment. • Recorded gauge readings on daily log sheets for all three Ship generators. Their output being 2470 KW at 400V. • Maintained adequate water storage tank levels and pressures to meet water demand. • Monitored flows, pressures, chemical feeds levels and water quality indicators. • Proficient in machining and welding.
