  As a student assistant at KPMG Audit for mid-market clients, I'm giving the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of audit and assurance. I'm part of a team responsible for conducting audits of financial statements and other related financial information for mid-sized companies across a variety of industries. As well as the mid-market clients I perform work for larger clients such as audit of EU funds in the danish Board of Agriculture (Landbrugsstyrelsen). At KPMG I work closely with senior auditors to complete assigned tasks, and I have gained valuable skills in areas such as risk assessment, internal control testing, and financial analysis. I'm also giving the opportunity to interact with clients and learn how to effectively communicate with them about audit findings and recommendations. Through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the audit process and the importance of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting. I also learned how to work collaboratively in a team and to manage my time effectively to meet deadlines. The work has given me a broad knowledge and understanding of financial accounting, reporting and analysis. Show less
