Collaboration in the development of the set-up used for the testing of the MEDA_SPH ASIC using Arduino and Raspberry-pi. MEDA_SPH (Mars Environmental Dynamics Analyzer Spherical) constitutes the evolution of the MEDA project, which aim was to study enviromental conditions in Mars. MEDA conforms one of the seven main instruments of the rover "Perseverance" from NASA that have landed in Mars last February. My collaboration embraces following tasks: Development of a friendly graphical user interface (GUI) using Python for the front-end of the set-up. Development of the RS422 communication between the MEDA SPH ASIC and external controllers. Development of the communication PC-Raspberry-Arduino via LAN and Serial communications using Python. Management and control of different lab instruments such as multimeters, power supplies, termic chamber, etc in order to automatizate the characterization of MEDA_SPH ASIC. In parallel to those activities I have been involved in circuit assembly on FeatherWing Proto for the connection with an Adafruit Feather M0 Adalogger, in order to measure temperature in nest boxes.
