The $24.7 billion Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) project commenced production in late 2015, converting CSG to LNG for export to Asia. The Upstream component of the project included thousands of CSG wells linked by a vast network of gas and water gathering pipelines, gas compression facilities and water treatment plants, with the CSG feeding into a 530-kilometre gas transmission pipeline to an LNG facility on Curtis Island. Additional responsibilities included providing technical and procedural supervision and mentoring for subordinate team members, consultants, and contractors, employing a “one-team” approach towards the efficient achievement of key project milestones, detailed analysis of project performance, identifying bottlenecks and streamlining solutions, developing and implementing project operating procedures and training team members, devising theoretical outcomes relative to proposed alternative business strategies, evaluating and managing a portfolio of contractor and consultant schedules and determining financial and schedule impacts created by unplanned events.
