  My final summer working with Tetra Tech Construction I returned to working as a Field Engineer. I continued much of the same work I had done during the summer of 2011, but as a result of having more experience in this field I had more responsibility. I assisted in completing the costs to complete each quarter and was in charge of the office during the night shift.   My second summer with Tetra Tech Construction I worked as a Laborer. I feel this greatly enhanced my knowledge as an Engineer, obtaining first hand experience building what has been designed gives me a more practical perspective of construct-ability during the design phase of a project.   I first began working with Tetra Tech Construction the summer after my Freshman year of College. The first summer I worked with Tetra Tech I was a Field Engineer, being in this position the majority of my responsibilities included calculating take offs based on the field measurements and the plans, submitting and organizing R.F.I.'s, submitting and organizing Submittals, and ensuring that most materials are available on site for seamless construction.
