Bio
Willem Rosenthal
I had the pleasure to work on our open source debugging library with Christian and thought he was a fantastic member of the team. He is fearless when it comes to diving into brand-new tech, incorporating it immediately. His contribution, digging into the source code of the SolidJS Framework and parsing the reactive graph allowed the team to access and manipulate Solid’s under the hood signals, making our debugging features possible. He’s a brilliant developer and would be an excellent addition to any team.

• Designed an open-source developer tool for SolidJS, an emerging, React-like framework, that allows developers to scroll through the previous states of their components to facilitate an easier debugging process in a framework not tailored toward dev tools • Utilized D3 to build a tree that grows when new elements are added to state and shrinks when elements are removed from state • Built a splash page (solidrewind.io) for our tool using SolidJS, Solid Router, and Tailwind CSS that includes a demo page to allow users to test out our application on a pre-built application as well as in-depth documentation with steps to set-up the tool • Published our tool on NPM to amass a peak of 8,000 downloads in one week, listed our tool on the Chrome extension store and connected it to our NPM package using the Google Developer API so that the tool could communicate with the browser extension • Product developed under tech-accelerator OS Labs (opensourcelabs.io) and retweeted by the official SolidJS Twitter Show less
