As Product Design Engineer in this rapidly expanding start-up it is my job to work on the conceptualisation, embodiment and validation of the next generation of medical devices for low- and middle income countries to help bridge the gap in healthcare inequality.

  The Impact Studio programme is a joint initiative of the Innovation & Impact Centre and the Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship with the mission to support TU Delft students, academics and professionals in starting their own tech company. With a main focus on the assessment of business feasibility, the mapping and validation of critical business assumptions was key during this half-year long pre-incubator programme. Through bi-weekly deep-dives with entrepreneurship coaches and peer-2-peer sessions with other aspiring start-up founders a solid foundation for starting a business was created.

During this three months project, the primary focus was acquiring data on work- and patient-flow, facility conditions and supply management combined with reviewing ISO standards.
