I love my work at Humanergy, because I get to work one-on-one with experienced and aspiring leaders, helping them clarify their vision, act strategically and make a real difference in their organizations and the world. I also lead our organization's marketing efforts, which allows me to exercise my creative and (very minor) tech muscles. Although it's not represented in my title (which we sort of make up ourselves), I also do a lot of writing and development of new Humanergy tools that we share with clients. One highlight for 2020 will be publishing "What Great Teams Do Great," co-authored with John Barrett and David Wheatley. Look for this new book to be available on 3/1/20. All in all, I find that each day is unique and challenging - my idea of perfection!

I love helping people reach their goals and become their best, authentic selves. One of the most satisfying parts of coaching is when a person makes a step-change in their leadership. Most often, this comes as a result of expanded self-awareness and making connections that they didn't see before. It's exciting and rewarding work.I also LOVE talking about what we're doing here at Humanergy. I do that through Humanergy's blog, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Yes, it's content marketing, but I think of it as a conversation with colleagues and friends. I love it when people comment and we get a give-and-take going! Together, we're helping to create a new kind of leader, one that is desperately needed! One of my goals for this year is to connect with more people about how they can ignite their own leadership, help others grow and achieve organizational success that they've only dreamed of. It's challenging work, and it's the right work. Wouldn't it be great if everyone felt fulfilled, successful and even joyful at work, and Humanergy were no longer needed?
