I was hired in January and by the end of the month had my certification to be a pharmacy technician. I am required to count medication, to keep my work station clean and tidy. I have to keep clear communication with the pharmacist, and the patient to make sure that drug interaction, drug over-use, and taking it wrong is avoided. • Feb 2018 - Oct 2018

I started in February as a clerk, within a month I become an assistant manager. As an assistant manager my duties are: to make sure customers leave fully satisfied and with a smile on their face. If we don't have an item they want, I make sure to place it on the next order, so we will have it in stock the next time they come in. I'm required to clean and keep prices and price changes updated. I assure my clerks keep their work stations organized, and I oversee that they ID the younger customers, and verify customer service is 100%. I keep all products stocked and on the shelves unless we are out. If out, I make sure to order the items that are needed. When opening: -Unlock the doors and drive through window -Make sure the correct tills are in their drawers, and all computers are up and running -Turn the open sign on and all the lights on inside -All paperwork that needs to be done and turned in for that day -Count the deposit for that day and take it to the bank When Closing: -Make sure floors are clean, and counters are wiped down -Reconcile all drawers that are required and put into the correct spot for the next day -Lock all doors and drive through window -Turn all lights off and arm the store Show less
