I have had the pleasure of working with Christer during his time as a Revenue Manager at Scandic Hotels. As a person Christer is humorous, always bringing joy to those around him and an important contributor to a friendly work-environment. As a professional Christer surpasses the vast majority of people I have previously worked with. In any discussion/argument you can rely on Christer to pay attention to the details others are bringing to the conversation and contribute with fact-based opinions to guide the conversation on. During Christer's time at Scandic we worked closely together developing the way we assess certain parts of our business. In my role as a developer I was often challenged by Christer's constant urge to add aspects to our model or question the outputs we got. But every time questions arose and we discussed how to proceed, our model and thereby our assessment got better. In addition I had to learn a lot of new skills to keep up with Christer's requirements, and thereby owe at least some of my personal development to his constant drive. And I think that is Christer's greatest talent; the ability to ask the right question in the right situation - a skill that is not easily learnt, but greatly needed in any business.
