  The majority of my five years with Adtalem Global Education was in leadership roles over regulatory affairs, holding oversight of about 25 team members and managing a total budget of $3.5M across U.S. and Caribbean based institutions and business units. I was ultimately accountable for maintaining all of our institution's eligibility to participate in the Title IV Federal Student Aid programs, which made up approximately 78% of Adtalem's $1.4B revenue. I was ultimately accountable for maintaining all of our institution's eligibility to participate in the Title IV Federal Student Aid programs, which made up approximately 78% of Adtalem's $1.4B revenue. Regulatory affairs accomplishments included: • Leading an organizational restructuring which shrank review of pending and final regulatory actions from six months to seven days. • Secured key regulatory approvals to retain access to Federal Title IV funds, which accounted for nearly 80% of revenue, during evacuation and relocation of two Caribbean-based institutions when operations and student/faculty safety were impacted by natural disasters. • Directing divestiture of two legacy institutions, executing a department wide change management effort. Based on success in the role, I stepped up to scale high-quality service levels and cost efficiency at Adtalem’s Shared Operations Center of Excellence. With my team of 200 direct and indirect reports, I managed a $100M operating budget with accountability for disbursement of $1.12B in Title IV federal student aid funds. I also served as the Executive Sponsor for a department wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative. Through a highly effective communications cadence, our team managed to secure buy-in and trust across business units to resume compliance with 100+ SLAs. Team transparency was enabled with enhanced automation and process re-engineering. I also sponsored an initiative to introduce transcript reading automation within the registrar services team, resulting in a 15% reduction in hours required to support the process.
