  I have started my journey at Ideadata as a Presentations Graphics consultant. Fresh out of Varsity, Ideadata was my first leap into the world of presentations and communications. Back then we assisted companies such as CSIR with the presentation slides which was created on packages such as Harvard Graphics, a DOS-based presentation software program!! The industry was completely transformed by the introduction of WYSIWYG (What-you-see-is-what-you-get) and PowerPoint. Ideadata Graphics was famous in the presentation industry for churning out 35mm slides with a guaranteed 24-hour turnaround. The work involved many all-night endeavors to ensure that the client had his or her slides in the morning, ready for their presentation. The work involved lots of presentation consultation and training on how to prepare a presentation, how to get the right message across to the right target market and most importantly how to present your presentation. This experience formed the basis of countless presentation consultation and training which is still ongoing as the need for professional, effective communication is ever increasing. Show less
