In this position, I develop creative and innovative web applications to solve problems for our customers. The applications are mainly composed of Java (Sprint Boot), HTML, SCSS, and TypeScript (Angular Framework). However, I do occasionally have to update older applications using JavaScript/jQuery and CSS. I use IntelliJ as my IDE and sometimes Visual Studio for front-end development, but I am also comfortable with Eclipse. Many of our apps incorporate the Google Maps API and I headed a project where we translated an old JavaScript-based Google Maps application to Angular. In 2021, I lead a project communicating across design and development teams to improve our process for transferring of materials. I now head the initiative for solving customer problems in submitted bug reports which involves a lot of database work and writing complex SQL statements. I am also responsible for onboarding new associates.

At Stream, I would code and update HTML email templates using Adobe Dreamweaver. They were mainly email advertisements for car dealerships. We sometimes incorporated interactive elements using jQuery such as a virtual scratch-off ticket. I frequently put my artistic abilities to good use by coming up with catchy taglines and email titles for our customers.
