My design ethos is based on the idea that our daily environment has a substantial effect on our physical en psychological well-being. Combining materials and planting is in fact a never ending search for our place in the natural world. Spaces have to adapt to our changing needs and evolving knowledge. Als a designer it fascinates me to grasp the underlaying reasoning behind our choices, so our environment can accommodate our day to day experience. I love working together with skilled people from different disciplines to create these well rounded places. Every project, whether small scale or big scale, deserves a good design.

As a trainee at Kwekerij Vervoort I had the pleasure to work with garden personality of the year 2016 Flanders Guy Vervoort. With his years of knowledge about plants and design, he was a mentor to me and taught me all the practical knowledge about plants and their place in our designs. A skill that I sadly lost in most curriculums. As a trainee at Kwekerij Vervoort I had the pleasure to work with garden personality of the year 2016 Flanders Guy Vervoort.
