Driven by my love of programming and tech i am constantly learning and developing my skills in full-stack web development. I am primarily working with Javascript (angularJs) on the frontend and PHP on the backend. I am working part-time as employee at a surveying company. This is mainly outdoor work and is a very good compensation in my life to the many sitting activities that i am following the rest of my time, like my self-employed work in webdesign and my hobbies that are mostly centered around programming and tech. In the surveying business we also work with some expensive technologies and i have to maintain a lot of focus and concentration throughout the day, what makes it very interesting and likable to me.

Alternative Civilian Service
-
Jun 2009 - Feb 2010
Back in the day every teenager in Germany had to do nine months of military service. I liked the idea of helping disabled people better than crouching through the forest with a weapon in my hands so i took the alternative and did what is called Civillian Service. I had to get up very early and work full-time as kind of a taxi driver. We were the guys that drive the disabled people from their homes to the schools, work places and to special occasions. It was a great experience and a very good lesson in humility. Also the money helped me to enjoy my first taste of freedom after twelve years of school.
