I have never met a sales manager like Chris Scott in all of my 13 years as a salesperson. Our company decided to shift focus to selling more coaching products and they put Chris in charge of the department. In fact, I was the guinea pig to help figure it out with him. I broke many company records because of Chris Scott’s sage advice. What made him great was his uncanny ability to listen to certain language people would use. I would share what went wrong with a prospect and he could give me a thorough diagnoses and plan within minutes over something I thought was insignificant. When I strayed from his advice, he was there to give me accountability, but more importantly add to my repertoire as a salesperson. Chris was so detailed that to this day I still use some of his sales language. I am glad we test-piloted coaching webinars together because I had no idea what I was doing! I can do them now because of Chris. I sold 70 coaching products in all of 2013 and I can directly attribute at least 20 sales to Chris Scott’s advice in the brief 4 months we worked together. I’m a better salesperson because of Chris and our company would not have the robust coaching department without his leadership. If you have the opportunity to do business with Chris, then take it!
