  In 2013, I joined HRA as an architectural historian, specializing in cultural resource management surveys under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the Washington's State Environmental Policy Act. In 2014, I opened HRA's Olympia office, working across the Northwest to document architectural resources in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. I've led field research teams, conducted intensive archival research, documented and evaluated buildings and structures as well as many park landscapes, and prepared numerous technical reports in support of private and public projects, including those in the transportation, energy, and hydroelectric fields. I specialize in project management, National Register evaluations, effects analysis, alternatives analysis, and mitigation. I work closely with local and state regulators, both independently and in collaboration with my fantastic colleagues at HRA. I've added buildings, structures, and landscapes to the National Register of Historic Places, and prepared multiple property documents, successful tax credit applications, and historic structures reports.
