Chris is one of the most talented yet easy-going people I've met as a software developer to date. I worked with Chris on a project utilizing React Native to design a multi-OS phone application in our Masters of Information Technology Software Development course. Chris entered the project with the most experience of anyone in the group in React Native and mobile development, but always allowed his experience to inform rather than dominate discussions. I particularly remember a disagreement in the early stages of development about how to approach the back-end given the options available. Although Chris was comfortable with one approach, he whole-heartedly dove in with the rest of us to a new technology, while bringing his expertise in React Native to bear to help the rest of the team understand the best ways to use features like routing and hooks. I really enjoyed having Chris as a teammate, and admire his level-headed approach alongside his capacity to contribute and know that whatever he works on next he'll continue to shine.
