Tripled the prior year’s record in the first year of my leadership. Implemented a philosophical change that led to the second winning season in the program’s last 21 years. Transformed the culture of the program which resulted in the second highest conference finish ever. Ranked as high as 26th nationally, highest ranking in school history. Graduated over 80 percent of student-athletes from our program. Won 20 games twice as Head Coach, compiled overall record of 67-52. Finished in second place in the Pac West in first season of NCAA Division II competition and would have qualified for the NCAA Tournament had we been post-season eligible. Recruited and coached 10 All-Americans and 15 All-Conference selections. Recruited and signed the National Junior College Player of the Year in John Taylor. Fundraised over 100,000 in three year time period. Coached and recruited 17 players who have played professionally overseas and two who played in the NBA’s Developmental League. Helped team reach two NAIA National Tournaments and one “Sweet Sixteen.” Ranked in top 5 in the country for two consecutive seasons. Won 2008-2009 GSAC Championship. Beat two NCAA Division I opponents in USC and San Francisco.
