As a surveyor my duties were to meet with customers, survey damage to their properties by burglary, accidental damage, storm damage or any insurance claim to their property, regulary inspect buildings for damage and water ingrest for insurance purposes, I was required to do a detail report and survey using laser equipment if required regarding the customers claims, this included risk assessments and photographic evidences. I would travel long distances, keeping to the companies KPI and completing jobs on the first visits if possible, being a trained and competent locksmith was a big advantage. Whist working in the office environment I worked with computers and other general office equipment, I worked to deadlines, targets and organised appointments I liaise with different members of the company, including dealing personnel regarding the sourcing and ordering of materials of specialised work. One of my previous roles within the company was to improve the companies repair ratio which was at 35%, at that point it should have been minimum 55%, within a year I had successfully improved this figure and the ratio improved from 35% up to 76%.
