I currently work with a Japanese Automotive manufacturing company, I supervise 2nd shift with approx. 25-30 Employees on my shift. I motivate my team to run high production and maintain quality products. I monitor my operators while trying to keep them positive. Its my belief that connecting with individuals can make or break their employment, I enforce rules and policies although make sure they are aware of the expectations beforehand. I think that communication is key in manufacturing and being a voice to and from the operators will help maintain a great environment. I will work alongside my operators in machining and Assembly, I like to build a relationship with my team and also know the process as well. Show less

I worked for Smith and Nephew a Medical Manufactuing Company as a Senior Machinist. I began at the company as a manual machinist in a department that was being outsourced. I worked in the Trauma section of the screw cells, I made every type of medical screw. Working with different types of materials such as Titanium, Stainless steel. I worked in a cell using Thread Mills, Whirlers, Cam Driven TOWAS. This was an operation that required both skills of CNC and Manual knowledge of machining. I then moved onto running CNC Swiss Tsugami Machines. I ran SS20 and SS26 machines, Automatic Bar Feeders. In this department i continued to make medical screws for smith and nephew. I would do my own change overs and set ups of the machine, changing programs and setting up the bar feeders to getting my materials for each order. I would vend all my tooling and touch off my tools. Load programing and start running production. Show less
