I have spent 10 years working as a Plumbing, Heating, Gas and Electrical Engineer, working in domestic and commercial properties for numerous high profile clients. I have a vast knowledge and skill set in this industry as this is where I wish to devote my working life until the day I retire I have fantastic customer and public communication skills based on my time spent conversing with customers about their bathroom or kitchen projects as part of being a plumber. In some situations this meant diffusing a tense or hostile confrontation with customers or members of the public, a trait that I am immensely proud of. I have a full working knowledge of current Gas and Water regulations including British Standards codes and sub codes. I also have a vast knowledge of fault finding and diagnostics as part of my time spent on large scale maintenance contracts. This ranged from small snagging lists to extensive Gas/Water leaks, Boiler fault codes to air locked heating systems. It was my job to identify the problems and rectify them in the quickest yet most cost effective way possible. I have worked alongside numerous trades and I have a working knowledge of electrical systems including current 17th Edition Regulations. I have designed upwards of 50 bathrooms in my time as a plumber which involved talking the clients through the layout, design, product and demands of the system including pressure demands, budget to luxury appliances and white goods, works to boilers and complex heating systems. Every job was followed through from initial contact, customer requirements, design, job specification, fitting and finally project completion, all of which were a success. In my time as a plumber I have had to recruit several other trades/fitters to work alongside/with the company. Show less
