It’s time to recognise some of the people who I have worked with in 2009 and I am delighted to recommend Chris Thornton. I have only known Chris for about eight months. However and in this short space of time it has become clear to me that Chris is both an excellent consultant and a nice person to work with. Chris works with many Orbys and Ovum’s clients on both the supply and demand side of IT and is very knowledgeable about the things that matter to these clients – especially around the development of sourcing strategies and the structuring of outsourcing deals. His work is valued very highly by many of our clients and they have no problem in discussing their key challenges with Chris and seeking his input as he has great knowledge and integrity. What however has stood out for me about Chris in the short time that I have known him has been his willingness to help me understand some of my clients challenges; his willingness to travel to meet in person with some of my clients and also his contribution as an advisor/consultant in some of the meetings that I have taken him into with my clients.
