I traveled to the deployment site, in the UK, where I was able to quickly and effectively troubleshoot and re-mediate a critical stop in testing due to an extremely technical processing thread prioritization issue. During the same deployment, I was able to fix a long-standing communications bug, which became incredibly critical and time-sensitive for completion of site acceptance testing. I was selected by program management to apply my efforts to the Basic Flight Trainer, after the Elementary Flight Trainer work was nearing completion, taking on additional tasks, such as training new personnel. I quickly learned and adhered to a comprehensive coding standard, participated in code reviews, and worked within the process to make improvements to the coding standards.
