  Responsible for the engineering functions to design, develop, and produce quality accessories and after market products for motorcycles and sport vehicles. Designs include components made from sheet metal, tubing, machined, stampings, weldments, die-cast and injection molded parts.  Design components using Solid Works, Auto Cad, and Pro-E. Management of all aspects of product development.  Create B.O.M ‘s, specify and source materials, parts and hardware.  Design production tooling and fixtures.  Training of plant personnel of processes and assembly of new products.  Specify QC requirements.  Design and specify instruction sheets, labels, and packaging.

  Designed quality veterinary instruments and products for animal health. Products included parts made from screw-machines, die cast, punch presses, and injection molds. Awarded two patents for devices that meter dosages of medical treatments for livestock animals. Also responsible for cost reduction of existing products, and assisted in overseas outsourcing and technical support which included travel.  Built and tested prototypes.  Created B.O.M ‘s, specified and sourced production parts.  Initiated tooling design.  Trained employees to fabricate and assemble new products.  Responsible for troubleshooting production processes.  Set up inspection parameters.  Managed customer technical support.



Uptrend Design

  Invented and developed toys, and assisted clients in the development of consumer products such as home lighting, office products, and plastic electronic enclosures. Managed all aspects of the studio including quoting and coordinating extensive development projects.  Created and developed new innovations. Designed and built high quality sales samples and engineering models. Trained employees in all aspects of model making. Purchased materials, tools, supplies and equipment.
