  I led the BBC News Channel's next-day and long-term planning operation. This involved representing the BBC News Channel at senior editorial meetings, planning and coordinating outside broadcasts, commissioning ideas, graphics and overcoming editorial and logistical challenges. I also worked to the relaunch of the BBC News at Nine on BBC Two.

  I worked as a producer on the BBC News at One, BBC News Channel and the Victoria Derbyshire programme, working as part of the live output team in New Broadcasting House, London. Working under pressure and responding to breaking news I was responsible for producing several items, creating sequences, finding contributors, writing scripts and headlines and creating graphics. It gave me a number of skills including problem solving, creative thinking and trying new ways to tell the story.
