Carried out maintenance tasks as instructed by my supervisor which included scheduled servicing, inspections, defect rectification, repairs, mod and service bulletin embodiment and functional tests. I started at Flybe as a fitter and left as a supervisor. Whilst there i gained my EASA B1 licence and endorsed it with 5 type ratings and company approvals on those types. Learnt my trade under the guidance of many skilled and experienced engineers, mechanics and structural repair technicians. I also attended college to gain my engineering modules and carried out practical assessments. Whilst college was closed for Christmas, Easter and the summer etc I would attend the hangar where I would carry out maintenance tasks which would become increasingly complex in line with my development.
