      Worked on an emergency ambulance responding to and providing emergency care to the sick and injured in the Austin-Travis County area. I worked for the system when it was a tiered system! I learned so much about solid patient assessment working on an Aid unit it is not even funny!

      My first job in Emergency Medical Services! I responded to emergency calls as well as working on the critical care transport team. I served in many roles with this organization. I served as a Shift Lieutenant whose responsibilities included maintaining shift schedules, overseeing daily operations for the EMS crews, organizing hiring processes, interviewing and making recommendations for hiring, educator, preceptor and mentor.
