  Managing a team of 5 trainers overseeing the training requirements of 285 core staff plus upwards of 100 temporary staff. We are involved in the process from the initial application and recruitment stage to induction of staff and the continued professional development which is ongoing on an annual basis. This includes DCPC, annual driving assessment and refresher training, as well as more specialised training such as tachograph training, new equipment familiarisation, fuel efficiency training etc. I am involved with the development and delivery of training programs which are backed up with both paper and electronically based auditable processes. I am also responsible for gathering and collating data in order to report to the senior managment team to ensure that the sites KPI's are met. I am involved with and take a proactive view with regards to the promotion of site Health and safety initiatives which include the development of Safe Systems of Work to meet the requirements of not only the needs of the business but also the continued improvement of service to the customer.
