I had the pleasure of working under the guidance of Chris at INCLUDED where he took on the role of CFO and interim CEO. Chris joined us during a time of transition and immediately took concrete steps to establish systems and procedures to improve operations not only of the finance department but also of the organisation as a whole. Chris is a great motivator and puts a strong emphasis on each individual employee as well as team dynamics. Under his leadership we were able to come together and achieve our goals even in the most stressful and challenging situations. I learnt a great deal about management, patience, and team building from Chris and very much appreciate his continued mentorship and support.

Adrian Watson, MBA

Chris has a thorough, diligent and professional approach to everything he does. His contribution to the Company and to his peers deserves recognition for the efforts he expended - he always produces outputs of an exceptionally high standard that are well researched and that stand up to scrutiny.

Ommica Ltd provides on site chemical analysis kits to the oil and gas and other industries to enable real-time decision making. Contamination of export crude oil, gas and water can be a very costly experience for operators, so knowing and being able to manage "whats in your crude" can potentially save $millions. A low cost alternative to Gas Chromatography for analysis of MEG and methanol, the OMMICA product helps clients manage produced fluids to minimize or negate the costly penalties imposed by refineries, pipeline owners and terminals, for contaminated fluids. A recent addition to the range: OMMICA THPS test, helps clients optimise biocide programmes, to ensure correct levels are used to provide bug kill and also prevent costly over usage of chemical. Co-founder in 2017. Managing the growth of Blue Gentoo, an independent service company based in Aberdeenshire, serving the global oil and gas industry. Blue Gentoo helps its clients manage and mitigate gas hydrate risk. This is a major concern for producers and developers of oil and gas fields, who face the ever present risk of ice (or gas hydrates) forming in their wells (when natural gas mixes with water at high pressure and low temperature) . Traditional methods of gas hydrate management involve injecting large quantities of a chemical, MEG, into the hydrocarbon stream, which costs the industry millions of dollars per year in opex and capex. Blue Gentoo offers a digital hydrate management solution, comprising patented technology and software, project management, consultancy and training. We are able to detect and locate the early signs of gas hydrate formation so that steps can be taken to avert them and we can optimise the use of hydrate inhibitors such as MEG (mono ethyl glycol) and methanol, Show less
