As a Full Stack Web Developer, I was tasked with implementing technical criteria into the organization’s cloud architecture, backend Laravel application, and consumer facing Nuxt.js (Vue) application. • Migrated the monolithic Laravel application into a full featured suite of APIs to enable communication between a new consumer facing application and mobile Ionic application. • Updated the internal organization’s legacy application to PHP 8.0 as well as integrated the Laravel and Vue frameworks.• Launched a new consumer facing web application on AWS Elastic Beanstalk that enabled the dealership to distribute their inventory on a nationwide scale.• Migrated the organization’s backend application from a dedicated server to AWS to meet the demand of increased traffic and business needs.• Utilized Ionic to build and launch a new consumer facing mobile application.• Used serverless technologies to interact with AWS Lambda running on Java to replace an on-premises third-party classified tool.• Built a Google Chrome extension that enabled departments within the organization to keep track of third-party data as well as internal data points using the organization’s API.• Scaled the internal inventory management system which included the organization’s MySQL database, DynamoDB database, Redis cache cluster, and web servers. • Replaced a third-party image resizing solution with a tailored serverless application that resulted in both cost savings and speed improvements.• Integrated Elasticsearch with the backend application to allow for dynamic and geo specific searches of the organization’s inventory.
