Benjamin Thompson

Chris is an extremely gifted pastor. Chris brings a humility to his leadership, always willing to learn from those who have led before him, but even more inspiring is his willingness to learn from those he leads as well. Chris understands that his ministry above all isn't his, but the Lord's, as the Holy Spirit continue to shape him as a leader. Furthermore, Chris has an extraordinary gift of teaching the Bible. Chris is able to take deep theological ideas and communicating them, both through preaching and writing, in a way that is easy to understand, as well as compelling and practical to the lives of those in the church. Chris manages to take these ideas, all while never forgetting to ground them in centrality of the gospel.
