       I was employed by TWPS as the Engineering Officer/Mechanical Analyst in 2011 working in the Asset group at Collie Power Station, reporting to the senior asset Engineer. My main duties were in the area of plant reliability, where I was responsible to manage the Condition Monitoring program for the site which consists of:  Vibration Monitoring and Analysis, Tribology/Oil analysis, Thermography.  My main responsibilities were to collect and analyse plant vibration data, collect and arrange delivery of oil samples for offsite analysis, provide onsite oil particulate analysis and provide reports to the station asset support group and maintain trends of results.  My other duties included creation and maintenance of wear databases for site equipment to monitor material performance and to predict when and what maintenance will be required, this work includes a significant amount of onsite UT thickness testing on Pulveriser Mills, Burner parts, the stacker Reclaimer and SDCC.  I worked closely with maintenance teams providing technical advice on the mill maintenance program and I was involved with developing the current maintenance (MST) schedule’s and coal pulveriser mill standard jobs, high volume machinery oil change procedure’s in MIMS and the check sheets to go with it.       Reporting to the Operations Manager my role at ALS was to provide Condition Monitoring and NDT services to companies across the South West, these included, Collie power Station, Muja Power Station, Blue waters power station, Worsley Alumina, Boddington Gold, Iluka. I was responsible to provide support services on specific client contracts. I also worked closely with other technicians in our group in providing broad Condition Monitoring and NDT services to our clients.
