A company dedicated to working with talented organisations and people across the Technology, Financial Services and Engineering sectors, GCS offers expert guidance in both permanent and contract recruitment. Proud of our specialist service and passionate about our people, our customers only deal with true industry experts. Whether you are looking to add to your team or find a new contract or permanent position, GCS will ensure you find the best possible match for your requirements. My business focus is purely on finding contractors their next engagement; by working only on contract vacancies, I am able to work with the urgency that this fast-moving market requires and build strong relationships with contractors who come back time and time again to find their future projects through myself and GCS.Whether making things smaller, smarter or more powerful, engineering is an industry based on progress - and progressive companies need to work with people who understand the industry’s existing and developing technologies. We specialise in software, hardware, mechanical, manufacturing and controls.CONTACTT: 020 7710 4141E: Chris.Nelson@gcsrecruitment.com Show less

Project Management
-
2014 - Jun 2017
Capital purchase of a wire EDM machine. Capital purchase of ALFIE coolant recycling machine. Design and implementation of coolant delivery system. Design and implementation of machine shop renovation. Conduction of a 3D printing feasibility study. All of these projects have been conducted in conjunction with my day-to-day machining role and have allowed me to have an in-depth exposure to a large expanse of the business. This exposure and involvement has made me more commercially aware and allowed my business and engineering knowledge to become well established. Accumulatively, these projects have made over $100,000 ROI for the business as well as bringing a number of Health and Safety & operational benefits. Show less
