Assisted the trail mapping coordinator in taking waypoints of the unmapped "unimproved trails" in the river valley parks and trails system. Involved the use of high accuracy GPS equipment and computer mapping software. Our team made more progress than all previous years combined, creating complete maps of the single-track and unmaintained walking and cycling trails in the Terwillegar, Buena Vista, and Mill Creek areas for use by 9-1-1 emergency services in response to calls in those areas.
