Chris and I worked together on a global project, deploying software to over 20,000 PCs worldwide, and interpretting data coming back from them. Chris should an increidble aptitude for learing new concepts and ideas, and took to the new skills with gusto. He took on new responsibilities throughout the project, and the post-project support of the system, becoming one of the global leaders in the effort. Unfortunately, this level of skill raised the attention of others in the company, and he was stolen away from our project! At every opportunity after that that arose, I tried my hardest to get some or any of his time assigned back to our project.
