  As an intern at WLOS I was able to gain real experience in the field. Writing scripts, packages, shoot video, record stand ups and edit video. I also spent some time producing shows.   I'm a cashier at a local grocery store when not at school. It may seem insignificant but I have face to face encounters with many people daily. Important in teaching respect and manners. My job is to ring up customers groceries and put them in which ever assortment of bags they've chosen. It's also to important to engage with the person while they are waiting.   As a sports intern for WBNG, I filmed a lot of video. Mostly with high school sports and athletes but also the Double A baseball team the Binghamton Mets. We also covered New York Jets training camp. During this internship I edited and shot video, conducted interviews, wrote scripts and packages as well.
