  As a Welcome Team Leader I led a team of four during the University of York's Welcome Week for international students. Our team helped the students move in to their accommodation as well as helping them settle into life in York through social events and helping them collect their visa from the Post Office and register with the Police. Through this role I showed leadership skills as well as communication skills as I had to communicate with students from a variety of countries.
