  I started in door to door sales as a means to an end, namely, make good money in the summer to pay for college. That organically turned into a direct sales marketing business. I would not say I am gifted at sales, while those around me may argue that I am. What I am good at, is solving problems and working my butt off until I figure it out.   While being, rambunctious as a teen, I came to know for myself, independent from any outside source, the power of God and the reality that Christ is who he said he was; A savior! My eyes have deceived me before but never have I been deceived by the Holy Ghost, who he sends to testify of him. Once I came to know that, I had an unmistakable urge to want others to know and feel what I had felt. Selfish desire ebed and flowed as i learned more about who I could become. To my eternal joy, I served a full time mission, 7 days a week, from sun up till sun down, for two years. I helped people see their potential, as sons and daughters of God. It was the hardest thing I have done, and the most rewarding. I learned how to work, I learned how to rely on the Holy Ghost, I learned how to work through frustration and disappointment, particularly when you did not choose your companion who you were not to be out of the sight of. I learned to not only “get along”, but come to love those companions that at first.....second and third glances may have not been up to par on a great many things. But seeing them progress is something that brings true joy and happiness. It’s shaped the way I treat my marriage and my relationships with others. That is in fact the lessons the lord taught. Everyone is worth it! Almost everything good in my life I can attribute to my mission. My marriage, my career, my skills in sales and my ability to read people and my continued striving to work on becoming a better person was solidified in the time I was able to dedicate to serving Gods children.   I was hired by one of the cofounders of Tahitian Noni International after rendering service to one of his sons who was moving into our apartment. He said I was a hard worker and was grateful for helping his son. I was given a job that involved keeping and maintaining the grounds of the world renowned Tahitian gardens on their global headquarters. I was able to work their for 9 months while I saved money to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
