Electrical Team Manager

Directed the electrical department supporting a 24/7 consumer products company that included injection molding, blow molding, liquid and powder chemical manufacturing, packaging and palletizing operations. • Implemented Root Cause Analysis and Breakdown Analysis to drive plant electrical breakdowns from 2% to 1% over the course of 1 ½ years.• Drove work order completion rate from 77% to 90% through improved scheduling and use of MP2 CMMS system. Updated PM tasks to include measurable checks of electrical equipment. • Piloted program for maintenance entering work orders and confirmation text into MP2 CMMS system, which helped us gather the most accurate information regarding equipment condition. • Led team to develop accurate storage tank level indication +/- 40 gallons in a 13,000 gallon tank, which reduced scrap and improved product changeover times. This was combination of code updates in the PLC programs and SOP for calibration and validation of pressure transmitters.• Brought lighting maintenance program in-house from being contracted through engaging employees to take ownership of areas of the plant. • Manage reactive maintenance team for injection and blow molding.
