  As the QC Engineer, my role is to support the QA manager in all aspects of quality, fully complying with ISO 9001, maintaining high standards to meet the criteria set out in the clients specification. My duties include reviewing current procedures, (and in some cases creating new procedures), overlooking a team of both plating and welding inspectors, managing all equipment calibration issues, material traceability and preparing and taking part in all relevant assessments and audits.I attended the ISO9001:2015 UPDATE WORKSHOPIn addition, i have created a 'MCER Register' to track all goods that enter and leave site. It has categories for the stores such as consumable issue, general items issue and waste management. This is now in operation and the instructions i wrote are also now an official TAG document.I have also designed a fully functional apprentice training school/testing out bays, which has been approved and fabrication should start in the 3rd quarter of 2014.
