  Responsible for designing, building and running the teacher training component of CeOLT (Certificate of Online Language Teaching), a teacher training qualification that provides candidates with assessed teaching practice with real language learners in online one-to-one lessons. The course is a combination of live sessions, asynchronous content on a learning platform and self-recorded teaching practice on Zoom. As well as creating the teaching component from scratch, I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the course. Responsibilities include: • Designing synchronous and asynchronous learning materials (videos, interactive activities, discussion tasks, demonstration lessons, etc.) • Training candidates in live group sessions • Observing recorded teaching practice and providing oral and written feedback • Designing teaching practice lesson materials • Continuing to develop and update course content based on stakeholder feedback • Implementing and automating systems for recruitment, enrolment and course management (utilising platforms such as ConvertKit, ThriveCart, SignWell) • Recruitment, induction and training of trainers, candidates, teaching practice students and administrative staff • Liaising with accreditation bodies and securing external accreditation Show less
