This involves management of a team of department heads, ensuring that each department attains green light status with respect of their KPI targets. My role involves motivating a diverse range of people, and optimising business processes in order to ensure that each department is run as efficiently as possible. 2) I have ownership over the company publishing programme and joint-final sign off on all publishing projects with the CEO. Our work down in specific global regions allows for us to tailor to localised sales channels, and decisions on projects are made with this in mind. I have personally put into place a number of steps for increasing author retainment, and reducing attrition in our work in progress lists. 3) I am also responsible for the growth of Cambridge Scholars' distribution channels, on a global scale. I have been successful in the establishment of trading channels in emerging economies such as China and India, both of which have become key markets for the business, along with, more recently, Australasia and MENA. As part this, I am taking a leading role in the shift of the business' traditional distribution models from the sale of physical content towards e-content, and have accordingly arranged for the distribution of our content through a host of e-channels both on a global scale, and one which is more tailored towards international regions.
