Responsible for leading all water related activities for the South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper). Constructed and commissioned Santee Cooper’s first 24 MGD surface water treatment system (Lake Moultrie Regional Water System) on time and under budget. This system provides water to the Lake Moultrie Water Agency which is comprised of three cities and one county. As the first water system employee, developed initial policy and procedure, hired all staff, and purchased all initial operations and maintenance equipment necessary to commission the facility. Facilitator for the development of the Lake Marion Regional Water & Wastewater System. Under my leadership this dream grew into a regional system comprised of 5 counties and 6 municipalities. Responsible for all aspects of implementation including concept, lobbying, coordination, planning, financing, contract development, design, construction and ultimately operation.
